March was a busy month for us here at LRC with the Lamoille launch of our new documentary Downstream. Tricia Long, Director of LRC’s Resilience Beyond Incarceration program, spoke with Roland Lajoie to talk about the film in our March conversation on WLVB.
Downstream is a one hour documentary featuring the compelling stories of those left behing when a parent goes to prison. Vermont children and caregivers share their experiences, revealing the complex and emotional terrain they navigate in the wake of a parent’s incarceration.
