Recently, Heather Hobart (Executive Director) and Mark Scott (Youth Programs Director) had the opportunity to sit down with Roland Lajoie at WLVB to chat about Lamoille Restorative Center and in particular, a new initiative here at LRC. LEAP (Lamoille Employment Advancement Program) is a new program being implemented at LRC focusing on helping folks move toward independence through the development of soft skills (e.g., communication, problem solving, teamwork, computer skills) necessary for successful employment. During this program participants receive support from LRC staff as well as many community partners.
