February Conversation on WLVB

Mar 12, 2019

Mother Nature may have delayed their February conversation, but only for a day. Heather and Roland sat down for their second chat on February 8th to discuss the showing of Bess O’Brien’s documentary Coming Home, being co-hosted by LRC & NVU-J on Tuesday, February 12th @ 4:30 in Bentley 207* and the Circles of Support and Accountability (CoSA’s) at LRC in which volunteers help folks who are reintegrating into the community after a period of incarceration similar to those spotlighted in the Coming Home film.

They also discussed the upcoming 40th Anniversary of Vermont Court Diversion. On February 14th at the State House, Vermont will be celebrating 40 years of Court Diversion. The House will also be passing a resolution in memory of Sue Wisehart. Sue served LRC as board chair for the past 10 years and as a volunteer and restorative justice advocate for many years prior. We are honored to be celebrating the many contributions Sue made to our agency and the Lamoille Valley community on this momentous occasion.

*Well, Mother Nature struck again and this time caused the postponement of the film showing. We are happy to announce that It has been rescheduled for Wednesday, April 24th,  4:30PM at NVU-J’s Bentley 207.
